You're the one who has it together. You're reliable, thoughtful, and quick to notice what everyone else needs.
You're also tired. Tired of saying yes when you mean no, of editing yourself, of performing, and of feeling that your worth depends on how useful or impressive you are.
You can probably explain exactly why. You know where it started. And somehow, knowing hasn't changed how it feels.
Many people-pleasing and perfectionist patterns began as smart strategies. Somewhere along the way, a younger part of you learned that being helpful, easy, impressive, or quiet was how you stayed safe and connected. That part is still working hard. It doesn't respond to logic, because it isn't operating on logic. It's operating on an older story, carried in the body and nervous system. That's why boundaries, advice, affirmations, and insight alone often fall short. The goal isn't to argue with that part. It's to meet it, understand it, and give it something new to believe.
Inner child work means working with the younger parts of you that hold early experiences, beliefs, and feelings. It isn't about blame, and it doesn't require a difficult childhood to be valuable. We approach it with curiosity. Using parts-based work, clinical hypnosis, and imagery, we help you notice these parts, listen to what they carry, and build a relationship with them. Many clients find this brings a different kind of self-compassion than thinking their way there.
